Our first stop after Kansas City was the beautiful Ozarks RV Golf Resort, just over the border in Arkansas. Our site overlooked Table Rock Lake and a 9 hole golf course. Murray had a few rounds of golf - unlimited golf was included in the nightly rate. We went for walks each day, and enjoyed the beautiful environment.

After a few days catching our breath here in the Ozarks, we drove several hours south and called in on Sandy and Joe Bill, our friends in Fordyce, Arkansas. We can't believe it, but it is the 7th time we have called into Fordyce and parked the RV in front of their home. Within hours of our arrival, another friend Wanda arrived, and us 3 girls were having a game of rummicub.

Not to be outdone, Joe Bill wanted some action, so the next day he challenged Murray and I to a game of table tennis. Little did we know he was playing table tennis every week, and proceeded to thrash us into submission. He was a very crafty player...every now and then he would lob a short serve just over the net, and on the rare occasion when we got it back, he then came back with a very swift play to the edge of the table. Very clever tactics indeed.
Joe Bill and Sandy's home is a bird watcher's paradise, and we we have never been disappointed with the birds we see. We saw Bluebirds, Blue Jay's, Red Cardinal's, Yellow Finches and hummingbirds. Their white Dogwood tree was blooming beautifully, and although it was stunning at any time, Murray got a great photo of it at sunrise. Although we only had a 2 night stay with them this time, we know we are going to see them again in Copenhagen in June when Kim will be showing all 4 of us around Copenhagen.
