Horseshoe for Good LuckOur 3 days sojourn in Fordyce ended with brekky in our RV. On Thursday morning Joe Bill & Sandy were still without power, so we invited them to have coffee& toast with us before we headed off on the drive to Nashville. We even got Joe Bill to try some vegemite. Betsy & John Benton turned up and took their turn at the vegemite tasting. They didn’t openly gag, but they may have felt like it! Minutes later Joe Bill & John Benton’s brother Hugh Connor drove up and called out his goodbyes. However I daresay the best sight for Sandy & Joe Bill was seeing the county electricity worker appear at our RV door to tell them their power was now back on! Their lives could now return to normal.
